You say it loops between two versions. If you strip the mime boundaries, are there two distinct documents, such that the edits (except for mime boundaries) are exactly A, B, A, B, A, B? But nothing but the headers (and boundaries) are changing? I haven't *noticed* this behavior, but our deployment is at a scale where this could be a little noise that we don't notice.
