From version 140+ Thunderbird doesn't rely anymore to "defaults" from
the RFCs, it looks only to special use flags and create the folder on
local disk if it doesn't find them. I didn't find a doc last year that
describes that change.
If you want to add special-use flags for existing users you would
have to take the "manual" route (i.e. script it with cyradm)

I don't use these options because they works only for autocreate inbox
and I had broblems between murder and autocreate. Will have to check
again on modern cyrus.
