I recently installed the latest tweakui on NT.
After trying to change the shortcut overlay arrow, I would get random icon
overlay over my desktop icons. An icon on top of all the shortcut icons.
The fix...
delete the Shelliconcache file in \winnt
Reboot
Bring up desktop properties/Click the plus tab/and uncheck "Show icons with
all possible colors"
Next reboot
Now if you want to show icons in all possible colors, then change it back
and reboot again.
I had this problem a while back, but spent hours to find the
solution. This time I printed it. Apparently, the "light arrow" image
icon which is inside tweakui is not high color!
