For some reason, some bios' will not auto-detect the cdrom drive if it is 
on IDE 2.  Make sure your bios is set to AUTO and/or try the CDROM Drive on 
IDE1/Slave.  You will have to check the jumper settings on the cdrom.

If the bios does not auto detect the cdrom, then Windows will not detect it 
either.
