I've been looking around for a while for a Web site that takes
people step-by-step through the process of repartitioning and
formatting their hard drives. Weendoggy's "How to Fdisk and
Format a Hard Drive" is it:

I want to remind people of a few things:
1. Repartitioning a hard drive using Fdisk kills forever all the
   data on that drive.
2. You don't absolutely have to repartition and reformat to do a
   clean install of Windows.
3. Read and understand before you do.
