Why are you using .vbs scripts to map your network and network drives, printers, or whatever? All the networks I setup used the native Microsoft network drivers except for the nic card itself. Was the person who installed it trying to automate the connection for you or what? Are you booting off a network drive? That would answer the question of why deleting or renaming those files prevented you from rebooting successfully. The vbs files are plain text files. Navigate to those files and open them with a text editor such as notepad and copy and paste into a plain text email message, or send them to me as an attachment and I will look them over. Make sure you get the actual .vbs file and not the shortcuts. CREATE a BOOT DISK NOW, as well as a norton antivirus restore disk set:) You may want to also backup the registry.
