That would answer the question of why deleting or renaming those files prevented you from rebooting successfully. He installed SyGate to my computer as well as my husbands. I am pretty new to networking so I honestly cannot answer these questions. Yes, we did use the network drivers. I am booting from my hard drive.There are no more viruses on my system. Make sure you get the actual .vbs file and not the shortcuts. I no longer have them.
