* informant * 40 GB HD and Spam

I installed a 40 GB HD in January and had no problems. Win 98 SE allowed the entire drive, no partitions. You shouldn't have any problems.   Lisa, that's horrible! Ick! I take it you tried to repair it first to see if you could snag some stuff off it. My husband's died too and we both bought IBM 40 GB HD. Heard good stuff about them from a tech friend. Lost all your MP3's too? . I'm up to 1004 since a bit before Christmas *G* Boy I gotta get some CD-R and start burning!   As for Spam, wow, I am inundated too. I received one yesterday when I opened my email that jumped open and took up the entire screen. When I tried to click close, the page wouldn't close and I had to reboot. The ad's are becoming worse and the HTML format is a nuisance. I tried SPAM Killer and it blocked my friends as well as my Spam. I eventually dumped it. Now I use OE and just set rules to delete from server. But a lot of it still comes through.   Glad to see people are still here.
