* informant * Is this a virus?

I joined another list a few weeks ago and needless to say, it's noting like this list where ladies and gentlemen act accordingly. The language is abusive and insensitive .. no I am not a prude, I just find it unusual.   There seems to be a discussion which I missed most of about a virus called actmovie.exe. I scanned with Norton and found no virus. I am up to date on all my virus definitions. I run Win 98 SE.   I searched and found actmovie.exe in two places in Windows|System. I left it alone.
