I bought a Linksys BEFW11S4 Etherfast Wireless Aceess Point + Cable/DSL
Router with 4-Port Switch, and a Wireless USB Network Adapter for the
computer in my living room and Wireless Network PC Card for my notebook. It
is pretty neet how I can take my notebook and access the internet all over
the house. The range is quite limited though much less than advertised
indoors anyhow. It was finicky getting set up as far as the Router settings
though. Perhaps that's more because of my particular set up or that I am not
formally educated in networking computers. But it seems to work quite well
overall. The whole package cost me about $1,000 Canadian. The price of the
stuff will probably come down over time.

I have used LinkSYS WIRED hardware and its great stuff. I only HEARD that

WireLESS is a good choice, in retrospect I would of went wireless.
