Don't know, but in Netscape, use Shift+LeftClick will bring up the save as... box.  
Maybe IE has a different method.  I tried several key combinations but couldn't get it 
to work in IE.

You would think that making a known file type unknown would force IE to bring of the 
open/save box, but that doesn't work either because it actually searches the file 
itself to determine the file type.  Though this his doesn't always work; there was a 
bug in IE 5 related to this issue.
