Subject: autocomplete and cookies
Suddenly my computer stopped saving cookies for the guestbook
service Bravenet. I belong to an online group and sign guestbooks
for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We are an active group of
several thousand.
In the past, Bravenet left a cookie for each of it's servers and
the first three lines of the guestbook were automatically filled
in when I opened the guestbook. Now they are empty. Nobody else
is having that problem.
I checked and cookies are enabled. I also checked and
autocomplete is enabled. I have no idea why it quit. Can anyone
offer any suggestions? Is it possible that I clicked something to
stop the cookies from being placed on my computer? If so, where
do I look.

Get rid of IE6 and go back to 5.5 without the security patch for attachments.. There
is no work around that I am aware of for Microsoft's "we are going to protect you from
yourself and know best what you should and should not open" helpfulness.
