LJBOOK.COM was going to shut down in October unless it found other hosting.
This is a free service that allows users to create a PDF document of their LiveJournal, DeadJournal, or UJournal (including moods, comments, music, and other settings) - along with generating a handy table of contents. The PDF file is produced in about 3-4 minutes and uses LaTeX. Having recognized long ago the value of having an easy way to archive LiveJournal posts, and not wanting to see a handy and free service disappear into the ether, in the spirit of community and supporting open source software, I went ahead and forked over the money to keep it alive. After moving to a new server host last month, I'm happy to report that LJBOOK.COM is once again available for public use. It really is a useful service, and the developer is working on some new features that will further enhance the service down the road. (The developer's contact info is there if you want to thank him for his efforts or report any technical glitches. I am not involved with the development of the service, just providing for its hosting.)
