Sounds like Senator Boxer and Company are pulling a Simpsons-esque Mrs
Lovejoy by saying "will somebody PLEASE think of the children?"

Sad to see that 'child porn' is becoming the next angle the MPAA and RIAA
take up on the Hill in an effort to shut down P2P and transition the
Internet into the Stone Age. Unfortunately, it's probably a no-contest
argument, because how can you be for P2P when it 'harms' children?
Political dynamite.

I don't think they said the same thing about the Xerox machine, fax machine,
or floppy disks, did they?

saying they are corrupting America's children, at a committee hearing
Thursday.

InternetWashington, D.C. - Scripps Howard Foundation Wire - infoZine -
Peer-to-peer file sharing is affecting children's morality and well-being by
giving them access to pornography and encouraging the everyday theft of
music, Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., said.

In a rare bipartisan moment, Sen. Ted Stevens, R- Alaska, the committee
chairman, agreed with Boxer.
