> 2) GSoC is supposed to be a org wide thing, and spreading info far and wide within the project IS exactly what we should be doing, it prevents a lack of interest AND the always inevitable ' Can I get a deadline waiver, I only found out yesterday ( when the deadline was last wednesday) '
1) As much as I appreciate that, the deadline is not "yesterday" yet, and we are on top of it. I agree that it is org-wide, however it doesn't mean that we should all now stand on our heads and flip tables. Wait for the appropriate entity (Bex & CommOps) to take care of the organization of things - and here I am not telling you to not think about ideas and what to mentor, I am specifically referring to the above asked question "Does Fedora have a page for Summer coding ideas for 2017?" and similar questions, to which there is but a single answer - Not yet, working on it. > And on that note I would like to ask this thread to end here - it doesn't belong into all these mailing lists. >> Something something INFRA something something INFRA I was referring to the following - not infra specific: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], Best regards, Radka ------------------------------ *Radka Janeková* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* On Wed, Feb 1, 2017 at 3:25 PM, Personal (open) < [email protected]> wrote: > On 31.01.2017 18:02, Abdel Gadiel Martínez Lassonde wrote: > > I would like to be mentor. > > Sent from my iPhone > > On Jan 19, 2017, at 5:15 PM, Corey W Sheldon < > [email protected]> wrote: As some of you may know, every year > Google hosts the Google Summer of Code (GSoC), last year we participated > with some decent results for a few projects.
