iMS version 1.3 beta 14 is now available from
ftp://ftp.hoot.com/pub/ods/ims/beta/ims13beta14.exe

This version adds the following new features:

Timed Delivery Warnings:

This feature allows you to send out delivery warnings when mail has not been
delivered. Warnings can be sent after a user-programmable number of hours
have passed (if you set the number of hours higher than the maximum delivery
timer then this feature will be disabled).

User-defined Timestamp:

The timestamp in the log file is now user-programmable. The default
timestamp looks something like:

06/27/2000 03:34:28 PM

but you can now change this with a user-defined string. For example, if you
want only a military timestamp (7 characters) you would enter hh:nn:ss as
the string. The default string looks like: mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn:ss ampm. At
the end of this mail are a list of date/time modifiers.

Other changes:

Extraneous logging has been removed from the POST Server log file. This
additional logging (that pertained to deleting mail and control files) was
put into the server as a developer debugging tool and is no longer needed.

A few rare bugs were corrected.

This will hopefully be the last beta before release (I've already gotten
enough grief over adding new features at the last minute :-).

Regards,

Howie

The am/pm specifier can use lower, upper, or mixed case, and the result is
displayed accordingly.

a/p: Uses the 12-hour clock for the preceding h or hh specifier, and
displays 'a' for any hour before noon, and 'p' for any hour after noon. The
a/p specifier can use lower, upper, or mixed case, and the result is

displayed accordingly.

If the string given by the Format parameter is empty, the date and time
value is formatted as if a 'c' format specifier had been given.
