Hi,

I'm wondering if I have missed a release of FusionMail... I've just
installed iMS 1.3c and FusionMail 1.2 onto a brand new server. After
going through the configuration etc to get everything running I found
that mail was not being received properly and looking in the SMTP log I
found the following:

07/31/2000 11:24:57 [001] WARNING: Application server response:
07/31/2000 11:24:57 [001] WARNING:

I then looked in the Data.cfm and compared it with the database, but it
looked OK. I then looked at the version of data.cfm on my development
machine and found that I now had version 1.0.5 on the server as opposed
to 1.0.4 on the development machine. I decided to clip out some fields
that were being inserted with what would be default values anyway and
the message changed (slightly) to:

31/07/2000 01:06:14 [001] WARNING:

Error Occurred While Processing
Request

Error Occurred While Processing
Request

Error Diagnostic
Information

ODBC Error Code = S0022 (Column not found)

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 97 Driver] The INSERT INTO statement
contains the following unknown field name: 'hasread'. Make sure you've
typed the name correctly, and try the operation again.

The error
occurred while processing an element with a general identifier of
(CFQUERY), occupying document position (104:10) to
(104:35).

Date/Time: 07/31/00 13:06:14
Browser:
Remote
Address: 192.168.0.2

Why it now actually named the column I don't know but certainly
'hasread' does not exist as a column in the iMS database as ditributed
with FusionMail 1.2.

So, is this a typo somewhere? A version control problem? Have I missed
something?

I know FusionMail is free and generally you get what you pay for, but
I'd just like to know whether there is a new version of FusionMail
around the corner so that I don't waste my time trying to make the
templates that have been delivered with iMS 1.3c work with the
FusionMail 1.2 database.

Sorry about the long post but it took me a while to work out what was
wrong (well, what *I* think is wrong) and perhaps there might be an
error in the process I've used that will be obvious to someone with more
experience with iMS and FusionMail than I have.

Regards and Thanks,

Brett Payne-Rhodes
