NOt sure why it dodn't work. I reset your
license in our key server. Please open up the following:
Start>Programs>inFusion Mail
Server>Register Serial Number
The existing serial number should be in ther (if
not, retype it from the email that has the serial number in it).
Click on the Send button.
You should then see a message about the license
validity.
Stop all iMS services.
Configure one or more DNS Servers in the POST
Server settings.
Start the POST Service.
You should then be good to go...

Howie

Howie,
The ip address of the machine in question is 212.229.102.241. Also, do
i need the smtp or pop modules to send from cf?
cheers
Richard
Send me the IP address of the machine off-list
and I'll get this straightened out. BTW - the POST-SE license is for
the POST Server and does not include the SMTP, POP or
Scheduler.

Howie

Subject: [iMS] CF and ims
Hi I
have installed the free imsmail software on our server. I want to use
this with coldfusion to create a simple mailing list app. I have
registered the cfx tag in cf and the tag runs fine when I try to send
a test email that uses the tag (similar to sample one in docs. but
with my email address in the to field) the page runs fine but I get no
email delivered.
I
suspect the imsmail server needs configuring. We use exhange 5.5 and I
need the mail server to send the mail here and on to the internet or
internally.
As I say
the cf tag seems to work fine but the mail server appears to not
be send the mail on to exchange, any clues? Not too hot on imail
servers etc!!
Thanks
Richard
