Hi Howie,

We have been having issues recently in which people claim to have not
received an e-mail even though it is reported as delivered by IMS. When this
occurs, I will notice several log entries with "sent successfully to"
referring to the same recipient and same message. I know you mentioned in
the past that this message occurs due to IMS trying to re-send a message
during the same connection.

Do you know why we are getting false delivery results? I am reasonably sure
that this isn't happening at the IMS end. I have seen this happen before for
messages sent to my company's employee mail server from IMS. When it happens
to me, IMS logs a delivered mail and I don't see the message, however a
server administrator can find the message on the employee mail server.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
