I'm using iMS
version 1.5.2
There are emails
that are being sent to the iMS server that contain attachments. Sometimes,
the messages (with a megabyte or so attachment) are being rejected because the
message size is too large (not the attachment). The maximum message size
is set at 300k, but the maximum attachment size is set at 5MB. Apparently,
the mail server is interpreting the attachment as being part of the actual
message, and not a separate attachment.
What causes
this? If an upgrade is need to solve this issue, what other areas will be
affected? I'm leary of upgrading simply because we have so many web-based
sites using this email system.
