I also have this problem. I was able to get rid of it by executing the
mail creation tag inside a loop, rather than passing the query to it. Of
course, this method is MUCH slower, but it beats having some customers
getting the message 20 times.
Did everyone get it, or just some people? In my situation, it was just some
people, yahoo accounts in particular. Looking at the log, it appears that
ims chunks the messages into groups, and if any one address fails the whole
batch is resent. Howie hasn't been able to duplicate the problem, and I'm
too afraid to try it with any of the latest 2.1 RC releases because of the
consequences of sending duplicate messages.
Has anyone else seen this problem?
