Good Morning :-) >I notice the CFX tag placing carriage returns in the middle of URLs when >wrapping is turned on. We must wrap our mailings at 65 characters, but our >URLs cannot be wrapped. Is there some way to keep the CFX tag from wrapping >just the URLs?
Not that I am aware of. >If not, has anyone found a good workaround for this? In situations like this we have turned off wrapping in the CFX tag and wrapped the text ourselves before we fed it to the tag. There is a trick that works with some mailer clients and that is if you wrap the url with angle brackets, <http://www.blah.com.au> and make sure it is a complete url, with the http: bit, then the email client will recognise it as a url even if it wrapped over two lines in the client's display. Very useful if you have a long url with lots of parameters or whatever :-) -- Yours, Kym ==^======================================================= This list server is Powered by iMS "The Swiss Army Knife of Mail Servers" -------------------------------------- To leave this list please complete the form at http://www.coolfusion.com/iMSSupport.cfm Need an iMS Developer license?
