For item 2), that's my bad, I was confusing SMTP and POST.  Yes, you are right, our SMTP is displaying the SMTP preamble.  Is there a way for post to use a customized (like the SMTP preamble) server name during the EHLO/HELO process?  I may be way off as to my understanding as to how this would work.  Currently, it's using my server name during the EHLO/HELO, which with some mail servers are rejecting mail, because the name is not a fully qualified hostname, e.g., servername.domain.com Here is an error I'm getting: <-504 <rbemail>: Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified hostname Thanks for your help!
