Title: POST Queue questions
Actually, the POST Server queues are a bit better than what you describe.  Each queue contains 0 or more waiting mails in order of the next delivery time.  Each idle POST queue looks for mail awaiting delivery in order of queue precedence.  So, if you have 255 idle POST threads and then have mail waiting in each queue then the threads will pick up mail for delivery until they are all busy.  When a thread becomes idle it looks for another mail to deliver.

I hope that makes things a bit clearer.

Howie

Ok,

1) Yea, figured that, sorry for the too obvious question.

2) Ok, please correct me if I'm wrong here, trying to understand how the queue works.  POST schedules current processing based upon number of threads.  So, like in my case, if 255 threads are available, it will look at the number of messages awaiting delivery, pick 255 messages, from the highest to the lowest priority, and deliver them.  After delivery of all threads, POST will get the next 255 messages awaiting delivery. ?

Thanks again )
