The cfx tag has some load-balancing capabilities. The Outoing Servers setting is
definitely executed in order. That setting was
created to allow for the sending of mail through other servers or to allow iMS to act
as a backup server. There is another way for
you to accomplish a round-robin but you would need to do some coding. The cfx tag has
a parameter where you can specify the MX. If
you specify the MX then the POST Server does not do an MX lookup. This should work
for you, no?

If that's the case then when Winsock stops trying to connect the server will move on
to the next one. This usually happens in
seconds and not minutes.
