Hi,
I'm just wondering how people set up their development systems so that
they can send and receive mail on the same machine without an internet
connection...
I have a Win2000 machine and I tried adding 'mytestdomain' in the Hosts
file and then sent a message addressed to brett@mytestdomain but it
wound up in the bad-messages directory with a 'no recipients' message in
the POST log. I then tried using 'mytestdomain.com' but rather then
finding the internal one (I added it to the Hosts file too) POST went
out on the web and found the real one, which didn't like my from address
and rejected the email so no harm done but this was what I wanted to
avoid...
So, any hints and tips on how I can set this up properly please?
Many Thanks,
Brett
