OK, I found it - it's a bug in the configurator. It's supposed to be writing to a setting called "HostName" and it's writing to "PostHostName" instead. What you can do is open the registry editor to:
HKLM\\Software\On-Line Data\inFusionMailServer\Post Create a reg_sz value called HostName and set it to the name that you want to use (you should see the PostHostName setting in there). This will be fixed in the next release. Sorry for the confusion....
