I probably should have pointed out, that I usually trim() all formfields in 
the application.cfm when requests are POST and haven't had any reports of 
Mac users having problems. I haven't ever reproduced the problem in order 
to fix it, but have seen the issue discussed elsewhere (on cf-talk, 
cfaussie and the CF FAQ at 
http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq/#answer196 ). The answer was 
always, trim() the filefield, which I do anyway for formfields in POST 
requests within Application.cfm. I had assumed it was working, because I'd 
had no reports telling me otherwise (yep, bad practice, but I don't have a 
Mac to test with).

Let us know if the above works though, if it does, I don't need to change 
any code.
