I never announced this because we have not yet done enough testing but it looks like 
PHP 4.2 is iMS compatible.  They changed some
core interface functionality in 4.2 that seems to have finally made iMS compatible 
with PHP.  However, until we have done all of our
testing we will not guarantee that iMS will work with PHP.
