The concept of rcpt templates is for the SMTP server only. The POST Server never uses
these. The POST Server can use one template
for Smart Delivery (if you have it turned on) and that template should basically just
store the message.
The savings in using Smart Delivery are:
1 - The SMTP server does not have to process the mail
2 - an SMTP connection/transaction does not need to be used
If you don't use Smart Delivery then mail from the POST Server will be delivered via
SMTP to the local SMTP server if the mail is
local.
