If so, here is my situation,
1) Incoming mail contains an attachment
2) The process scans the file name looking for
"invalid" names which will be blocked
3) An
"invalid" filename is found, proceed to block the email
Now, at this point, what can I do in the DATA
template to make sure the mail will not go through?
I've tried result=reject, or result=oversized, yet
the iMS log is showing this error:
06/04/2002 05:44:51 PM [235] Exception in client main process: Timeout
waiting for client data
This is caused by a remote server
that does not expect the mail to be rejected after sending it. What you
should do is accept the mail and then take action. You can delete it
and/or send error notifications to the sender and the recipient.
