We recently tried generating two large mailings of about 300K back to back in continuous batches of 10K. We had no problems with memory [1GB RAM], but the file system [Win2K, RAID 1, 10K RPM] could not keep up with the CFX tag. We received over 100K error messages - "WARNING: Mail file *.MBX not found", and had to reconstruct a list of all the addresses which were not created by going through the log file manually :-\ (anyone know of an inexpensive grep tool for Win2K?). On our next attempt we are going to add a brief wait period between batches of 10K, which I feel should work more smoothly.
