If your iMS log shows only one delivery then you can bank on that.  Like Marc mentioned, it's probably something on the other end.

I've been getting complaints from clients that are saying that their subscribers are receiving multiple copies of their newsletters.  I've looked in the log and only see one entry for a successful send for each of these addresses, but they have received 2,3 and sometimes 4 copies of the same message.  I've considered that maybe they have other email addresses that are forwarding the messages into one mailbox, and that is not the case.
 
    Any ideas?
