Hi, I just bought iMS SE for use with Cold Fusion.
The sole reason for using iMS is to get around a problem with our existing
mailserver, so the only thing I'm doing as far as CF goes is in the Cold
Fusion Administrator, I'm pointing to the iMS mailserver instead of our
standard mailserver.
I've got iMS and Cold Fusion installed on the same box.
I could -not- get Cold Fusion to connect to the iMS SMTP server on port 25.
However, it connected fine to the iMS Relay on port 2525, and its
successfully sending out mail.
Here is my question to those who have traveled this road before:
If the only thing i'm going to do with iMS is use it to send out mail
generated by the Cold Fusion server...
1.) Am I doing it right; using the Relay on port 2525?
2.) Which of the iMS services (SMTP, POST, Relay, Scheduler) do I need to
keep running?
