Hey Howie,

We have Exchange 2000. I just tried the tag again using the following call to CFX_IMSMAIL:

<CFX_IMSMAIL
 smtpto="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
 smtpfrom="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
 header_to="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
 header_from="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
 header_subject="test plain text and html to exchange"
 body="This is a plain text message"
 html="<b>This is an HTML message</b>">

Outlook shows that there is an attachment, but when I open the message I just see the HTML version of the e-mail without an attachment.

Here are the headers I see:

It's valid to have a header continued on another line.  However, if this is a problem (and I can't test it since we don't have Exchange here) then I can have the header changed in the next release.

Does anyone else have Exhange and would be willing to test an email with plain text and html?

Thanks,

Howie

I believe the most recent cfx_imsmail and/or post server introduced changes to allow outlook to show attachments.

This works fine but it seems that on some systems (excahnge 5.5 server?) all html mails that have both a plain text and html part, arrive as an emtpy mail with the html message as an 'untitled attachment'.

I've fixed it for now by deleting the plain text part of the mails but it may be something you want to know about and might possibly want to look into?

Maybe it's to do with the hader

Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="_NextPart_000_1037296986_CFX_iMSMail_3028429203"

that has now changed to (on two lines):
