First, is it sure that the mesage-id changes between two post attempts? May
be worth checking, testing.

Second, what you could do I guess is calculate an md5 hash or something
similar of the body, and store that for a few hours. On every new message,
compare the hash with those of the last 6 or so hours to decide it's a dupe
or not. This will put some strain on the server but should work.
