How could mail coming back to me have -:ident: if tokenization were working?  The mail server sending back mail knows nothing of tokens, it is getting the information from what it receives, and what it receives is not tokenized.

The log files should show exactly what is sent.  Inaccurate log files are of questionable value.

Idea:  Since SMTPFrom can be variable, include it in ReportPostStatus. But this would mostly be for debugging, the log files should accurately show SMTPFrom and SMTPTo for the mail delivered.

Tokenized SMTPFROM works - as I mentioned to you off-list, the return mail does not tokenize the information.

Out of curiosity, do the tokens work in the body of the message?   I'm having this exact problem, but the body works, it's just the SMTPFROM that's not being tokenized.  It's a problem Howie and I have discussed extensively off-line (and a bit online) for the past year, and only recently was implemented.  It's possible that dynamic FailTo works, but Dynamic SMTPFrom does not.

Anyway, I'll bet that tokenization works in the body, which would narrow down the problem.

I meant for the cfx_imsmail.dll - you can get the version by right-clicking on the file in Windows Explorer.

Also, I noticed that there are no recipients in the control file that you sent - us that the entire file?

Howie

Yes it is a valid column (I also output it in the log file)

inFusion SMTP Server version 2.4.4

inFusion POST Server version 2.4.4

inFusion POP Server version 2.4.4

inFusion Scheduler version 2.4.3

inFusion Relay Server version 2.4.4

Is that enough
