Subject: Re: [iMS] Tokens not
processing.
How could mail coming back to me have -:ident: if
tokenization were working? The mail server sending back mail knows
nothing of tokens, it is getting the information from what it receives, and
what it receives is not tokenized.
As I said, my testing shows that
it's working. If you can give me code that reproduces what you are
seeing then I'll look at it. I would require as many details as possible
including the generated mail and control files and where the mail is bouncing
back from. I did tests using both global and user-specific tokens
(QTokens) and SMTPFROM tokenization worked fine.
The log files should show exactly what is
sent. Inaccurate log files are of questionable value.
Which is why I've already said that
it would be corrected.
Idea: Since SMTPFrom can be variable,
include it in ReportPostStatus. But this would mostly be for debugging, the
log files should accurately show SMTPFrom and SMTPTo for the mail
delivered.
I've mentioned this several times
before - reportpoststatus cannot support user-specific tokens - only global
tokens so this would not help anyway.

Tokenized SMTPFROM works - as I mentioned to
you off-list, the return mail does not tokenize the
information.
