The scheduler should be checking your getevents template according to the interval 
that is configured in the server.
You should be able to see the getevents template being called accordingly.  After 
that, all control is in the getevents
template and the underlying cfml code.  If your template is not providing an event 
when it should then you need to try
to find out why that is happening.  The scheduler only calls the template (via cf) and 
then parses the results so the
control at that point is outside of the scheduler.
