I do the standard bouncing technique that Howie describes with one
exception.  Each bounced message process increments a 'bounce' counter and
'first bounce date'.  If a person gets more that 10 bounces in a week, the
record is removed.

It seems to work pretty well...we send out about 30,000 email notifications
a day with IMS. Although I have to figure out why Infusionpost.exe hovers
around the 200 meg memory mark in the system resources.
