The COM object in the iMS 2.4f installer is compatible. As for the spec - I did send a document link to this list with details:
http://www.coolfusion.com/pub/ods/ims/beta/releasenotes.txt The only thing in the release notes that is now incorrect is the section that says that the com object is not compatible.
