I have a bunch of other things in our servers here that trigger email as Spam:

1 - we use 3 RBL servers (spamcop, njabl and spamhaus)

You're saying that the sender is pretending to be the server it is 
sending to, yes? Doesn't that happen if I am sending mail to a 'local' 
domain or is the mail server smart enough to know that and doesn't 
'send' to itself? (Sorry if that is a dumb question.)

Spam still comes through but our servers block around 95%

Sounds good. I think it is time I got serious about this too.

By the way. Kym Kovan posted a reply to this too but it didn't show up 
on the list. She also said that her attempt to mail you directly Howie 
resulted in a '550 - User Unknown' error. Do you know what is going on?

Hi,

I've added some code to data.cfm to notify me whenever a message is 
received that does not have a form.header_from value. I don't get many 
through (I'm monitoring all emails) but the ones that have come to me 
are inevitably spam. I think Howie said that it isn't valid to *not* 
have a form.header_from value so is it ok for me to just reject these 
messages outright rather than sending warnings (to myself)?
