I am having a problem sending email to my internal
domain. For example, if my domain is abc.com and I have an account set up
as [EMAIL PROTECTED] and another as [EMAIL PROTECTED] I get an error in my
POST log when sending from test1 to test2. Here is the error:
Also, I get the follwoing email message in test1's
Inbox:
Your attached message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] could not be delivered. I said "RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" and abc.com responded: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [EMAIL PROTECTED] Entire Transaction follows: <-220-abc.com inFusion Mail Server Professional v2.5 SNDemo ESMTP ready at Tue, 22 Jul 2003 08:43:21 -0500 <-220 ABC.com Email Server - This is a test! ->EHLO abc.com <-250-Pleased to meet you, abc.com <-250 HELP ->MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <-250 OK ->RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <-250 OK ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) ->DATA <-354 Send data now -><DATA> <-451 Requested action aborted: local error in processing ->QUIT <-220 abc.com Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 5.0.2195.5329 ready at Tue, 22 Jul 2003 08:43:21 -0500 ->EHLO abc.com <-250-abc.com Hello [192.168.1.38] <-250-AUTH GSSAPI NTLM LOGIN <-250-AUTH=LOGIN <-250-TURN <-250-ATRN <-250-SIZE 2097152 <-250-ETRN <-250-PIPELINING <-250-DSN <-250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES <-250-8bitmime <-250-BINARYMIME <-250-CHUNKING <-250-VRFY <-250 OK ->MAIL FROM: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <-250 2.1.0 [EMAIL PROTECTED]....Sender OK ->RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <-550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [EMAIL PROTECTED] Okay, and the final piece of the puzzle is that the recipient, [EMAIL PROTECTED], actually received the email. So why do I get the error in the POST log, and why do I get the Undeliverable email message in test1's Inbox? Thanks for your help, Keith
