The only thing that Skip User does is that it
bypasses the template that would be called in the POP server. The value of
this template is limited (which is why we don't use it). The main part
that controls who gets shared mail is the aliases and the SMTP server.
When the mail is received it is inserted into the mailbox of each recipient that
shares an alias.
As far as testing goes or things to look for -
I would set up two test accounts with the same
alias. Then, check in the database to see what their account numbers
are. Send a mail to the alias and make sure that two records are added to
the MAIL table - one for each recipient. If this is the case then the
server code is working properly.
