FusionMail, by default, requires SMTP authentication in order to relay through the
server in order to prevent open relaying. You can either enable SMTP authentication
in iMS and the email client or remove this restriction from the FusionMail code (not
recommended).

In order to use SMTP auth you need to enable it in the iMS SMTP Server settings (there
is one for LOGIN and one for CRAM-MD5 - you should probably enable both). Then,
configure the email client to use authentication.

There is some info on setting up the client here: http://www.eoscape.com/smtpauth.cfm

Regards,

Howie
