It uses the domain portion of the address in lieu of a proper MX record.

I have checked the MX From Address now, and will see how it goes. I wasn't sure from the manual (which wasn't entirely clear) that this would work. The manual seemed to imply that if there was no mx on the lookup for something like: mail.weftweb.net then the POST server would look up the MX on the parent domain eg: weftweb.net. I gather it does more than this?
