Funny you should mention this...
I had to put cftry/cfcatch code around the virus checking code specifically because of the errors that we were seeing, and I'm still debating what to do with the errors as most that I noticed wound up being viruses anyway...

I am zipping them up and sending them to Howie as none of them are Lotus Notes originated, in fact they all look very normal to me, two with pdf attachments, one Word doc and an attached Apple file of some form.
If anyone else is having similar problems I am happy to share the error handling code that I added to Phillip's templates, I have already sent the same to him.
