Either turn off the MAIL template in teh SMTP server or allow for the address to be blank in the template.

I have set an account in inFusion mail name [EMAIL PROTECTED] and have tested, it works fine. Then in the <cfx_imsmail   tag I set  smtpfrom= " [EMAIL PROTECTED] "  .   Then when I send to an account that is over filled with mail, so I know it will bounce, here is what I get in the POST and SMTP logs:

Failto is the address that you want the POST Server to send delivery failure notifications to...so, it can be anything you want.  SMTPFrom is what the server uses in the MAIL FROM SMTP protocol and can be a bounce address or most any other email address.

As for the POST Server - you don't need to check off any of the template if you don't need them.  The ReportPostStatus template (notifications checkboxes) can be enabled for success/temp fail/perm fail if you want to track those.  The postfail/postwarn templates allow you to use a custom message instead of the iMS built-in nottification emails.

What is the actual code in the tag? failto=[EMAIL PROTECTED]  and  smtpfrom="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"  ? Also, in the IMS config., POST tab, what is recommended for the checked settings for the templates ?
