Thank you, Bryce - Inkscapers won't starve in Kiel, I hope :) I'll let the board know what I think it may cost, when I know roughly who would come, and what they'd need or want (as I've never been to a hackfest myself, it's a bit hard to guess what people need - and what they prefer to bring (and choose) themselves). Joining the Kitz barbecue could be fun, for example, but it's not remotely a formal dinner, just sitting together (outside, if the weather allows) with other tech people and eating burgers, bratwurst and salads.
