I checked, but it turned out I already used the correct .pot file. So I found the other cause, which was an "outdated" development version. The problem was (on my part) at OSS-Marketplace.com, where few days ago I was unable to get from SkyDrive the latest version (it asked for login, or something), so I downloaded an older version, without noticing that it was one year old (I only noticed "December", ignoring the year). Now SkyDrive worked again and so I was able to download the latest development where the translation works as it should. However, something is still missing here: in the Export PNG Image... dialog window, I cannot find the _Custom string from the upper button. Thank you anyway and sorry for the trouble.
